Queen City Hospice is seeking a Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide compassionate care in patients' homes within the Greater Cincinnati Area. This role emphasizes direct personal care, ADLs assistance, and patient comfort, with a supportive, low‑stress environment and no on‑call requirements.

Qualifications

• Active STNA/CNA certification is required.
• Strong communication and observational skills are essential.
• Passionate care to terminally ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care to hospice patients in home settings.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, and toileting.
• Support patient comfort and safety, including proper use of medical equipment (oxygen, bed rails, etc.).
• Perform skin care and positioning to prevent breakdown and promote comfort.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light household tasks as assigned.
• Take and document vital signs as directed.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN Case Manager.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
• Offer respite care for caregivers when needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with hospice standards.
