Job summary

Twilight Hospice & Palliative Care in Dallas, TX is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Hospice Aide to join our compassionate care team. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, ensuring dignity, privacy, and safety in every interaction.

The role emphasizes teamwork, infection control, and accurate documentation to support continuity of care for our patients and their families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Current CNA license.
• Valid State Driver's License.
• At least one year of experience in healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient welfare.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care under the supervision of an RN, in accordance with the Aide Plan of Care.
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Communicate changes in patient condition and provide necessary documentation for continuity of care.
• Promote respect, privacy, and dignity for each patient.
• Assist with nutrition and hydration, ensuring proper patient care.
• Adhere to infection control standards and agency policies to provide quality care.
• Contribute to the agency's success with effective time management and collaboration.
