Job summary

Sanctuary Hospice is seeking a Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide hands-on care to patients at the end of life, under the supervision of the nursing team. You will address physical, emotional, and personal needs with dignity and compassion, following each patient’s plan of care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current unencumbered CNA certificate in the state.
• Minimum 1 year CNA experience in acute or long-term care; hospice experience a plus.
• CPR certification if state-mandated.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care following the plan of care.
• Assist with bathing, oral hygiene, bedding, dressing, and grooming.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support patient satisfaction.
• Support families with guidance and information.
• Maintain accurate documentation in home and agency records.
