Job summary

Trinity Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide - CNA to provide compassionate home-based care in the La Vernia and Floresville areas. You will work under an RN, assisting with ADLs, personal care, and creating a safe, respectful environment for patients and families.

The role requires CNA or Hospice Aide certification and at least one year of relevant experience; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential. We offer paid holidays and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as Hospice Aide or CNA in healthcare settings.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision and according to the Care Plan.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility.
• Report changes and document care provided to ensure continuity of care.
• Follow infection control policies and maintain a safe, clean home environment.
• Communicate with patients, families and colleagues in a respectful, supportive manner.
• Assist with nutrition and hydration and manage supplies as needed.
• Support agency operations and time management through efficient care delivery.
