Job summary

Remarkable is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant to provide essential patient care in a hospice setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and work closely with the nursing team to ensure comfort, safety, and dignity for patients and families.

The role emphasizes collaboration, effective communication, and adherence to facility protocols. Must have Nursing Assistant certification and state approval, with 1 year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Nursing Assistant course and state certification.
• One year of experience in a comparable role preferred.
• Driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance; no OIG exclusion.
• Approved training program/competency eval per Medicare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Provide mobility assistance and help with transfers and positioning.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with basic medical procedures under supervision.
• Collect specimens for lab tests as directed.
• Document patient condition and care in medical records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and assist with equipment sterilization.
