Job summary

Anthem Hospice seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, hands-on care in patients' homes or care facilities across the Tucson area. You will work with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to assist with daily living, comfort, and dignity.

This position offers flexible scheduling for full-time or part-time candidates who are passionate about quality care and supporting families during difficult times.

Qualifications

• One year of direct patient care experience in an institutional setting.
• Proof of state certification may be required or applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Support patient comfort and safety in the home or care facility.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nurse.
• Assist with meals and basic nutrition needs.
• Support mobility and safe transfer using approved techniques.
• Assist with routine treatments as directed by nurses or physicians.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and proper infection control.
• Document care provided and patient responses per the plan.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team activities and quality improvement as needed.
