Job summary

MGA Home Healthcare LLC in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide patient care under RN supervision. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, documenting observations, and ensuring safety and comfort during shifts according to Plan of Care.

The successful candidate will be licensed/certified, maintain TB and CPR records, and demonstrate flexibility, organization, and professional communication within a patient‑centered team.

Qualifications

• Be flexible, organized and have the ability to exercise sound judgement to perform the job duties/responsibilities as described.
• Provide current TB test results or Chest X‑Ray as required by policy.
• Provide copy of current CPR certification.
• Graduation from an approved program/certification reflecting ability to perform the job as described.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living and prescribed exercises.
• Documents tasks completed and reports observations to RN Case Manager or supervisor.
• Maintains patient records and adheres to Plan of Care/Home Health Aide Assignment Sheet.
• Assists with moving, transfers, grooming, dressing and personal care for patients.
• Performs routine duties such as meal preparation, linen changes and basic housekeeping as needed.
• Demonstrates teamwork and communication with physicians, nurses and other caregivers.
