Gentiva Hospice in Seattle area is seeking a dependable Hospice Aide/CNA to provide compassionate personal care and emotional support to patients in homes, facilities, or inpatient units.

Required CNA license, CPR, and a driver license with reliable vehicle. Minimum 6 months of direct patient care experience, with a strong emphasis on compassion and independence to adapt to patient needs. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in the state of employment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Driver's license with reliable vehicle and insurance.
• Minimum 6 months direct patient care experience.
• Comfortable working in home settings, hospice facilities, or long‑term care environments.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and ability to handle emotional situations.
• Willingness to work independently and adapt to changing patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care to terminally ill patients.
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting.
• Support safe mobility with walkers and wheelchairs.
• Help with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation of visits.
• Attend team meetings and participate in QI activities.
