Job summary

Cadre Family Companies is seeking a compassionate Hospice Care Assistant (CNA) to support patients in their homes and communities. You will work with a collaborative clinical team to deliver dedicated end‑of‑life care with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of one year of experience working as a CNA in hospice, palliative care, or a similar setting.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, hygiene).
• Assist with positioning, transfers, ambulation, and mobility needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
• Respect patient dignity, privacy, preferences, and routines.
• Follow the patient’s plan of care and document care provided.
