Qualifications

• CNA experience within the last two years.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Current state CNA certification and registration as required by state

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics in performing care tasks.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and environmental tasks as assigned.
• Observes, reports, and documents changes in patient status and notifies the nurse.
• Follows written instructions from a registered nurse per the plan of care.
• Assists patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by a nurse or therapist.
• Performs and records simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin.
• Other duties as assigned.
