Job summary
Covenant Living of Colorado is seeking a Hospice CNA to support patients under RN or therapist supervision, performing personal care and documenting observations to promote quality, continuity and safety of care. The role covers bathing, feeding assistance, vital signs, ambulation, ROM, medication assistance, and maintaining a clean living area.
Education includes HS diploma and nursing assistant program, CPR and HHA as required by state.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Nursing Assistant program certification, CPR and HHA as required by state.
- Entry level experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including baths, hygiene, dressing, and linen care.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals and assist feeding if needed.
- Record vital signs (temperature, pulse, BP) as ordered.
- Assist in ambulation and range of motion exercises.
- Assist patient in self-administration of medications.
- Perform laundry and maintain clean patient area.
- Ensure safety and proper use of equipment.
