Job summary

Brighton Hospice in Avon, IN is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide quality resident care under nursing supervision, following assessments and care plans with safety guidelines.

In this role you’ll collaborate daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, and aides, while pursuing additional certifications and growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding national company. Competitive pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with our community organizations in patient care.
• Ability to work well within a team environment to collaborate daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and aide leadership.
• Eager to gain higher level of opportunities such as certifications and further education.
• Work closely with patients on a 1-1 level but get strong support from a patient care team.
• Able to work independently and on your own from a day-to-day basis.
• Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state(s) of practice

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care to assigned residents in accordance with assessments and care plans, under nursing management.
• Coordinate proper types of care with licensed staff while following company nursing policies and safety guidelines
