Job summary

Brighton Hospice in Farmington, CT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate resident care under the direction of the Director of CNA Services and nursing management.

You will work with a dedicated care team to follow assessments and care plans, coordinate with licensed staff, and adhere to company policies and safety guidelines while delivering quality patient care and comfort.

Qualifications

• Commitment to improving quality of life for patients and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and aide leadership.
• Willingness to drive with reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• CNA certification in state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care according to assessments and care plans as directed by nursing management.
• Coordinate with licensed care staff to ensure appropriate types of care for residents.
• Follow company nursing policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
