Job summary

AMEDISYS HOME HEALTH is seeking a hospice aide to provide compassionate, in-home care in the east Cuyahoga and Lake County area. You will assist with activities of daily living and support the patient’s comfort and safety at home.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current CNA certification and CPR are required by state rules.
• CPR certification is needed for patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Assists with feeding and meal preparation as assigned.
• Plans homemaking tasks and environmental services.
• Observes and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Follows care instructions prepared by a registered nurse.
• Assists with prescribed exercises and simple urine tests.
• Other duties as assigned.
