Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience working in hospice.

Responsibilities

• Assists with ROM activities as taught by the hospice nurse.
• Provides assistance in toileting and positioning of patients.
• Helps with ADL activities such as hygiene and grooming.
• Assists or reminds patients to take medications.
• Cleans individual units, including changing bed linens.
• Feeds and assists with meals.
• Monitors vital signs under nurse supervision.
• Reports changes in patient conditions to the nurse.
