Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience working in hospice.
• Understands the hospice philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Assists with prescribed exercise and ROM activities.
• Provides assistance in toileting and transfer activities.
• Assists with ADL activities such as personal hygiene and grooming.
• Reminds the patient to take medication.
• Handles light housekeeping of the patient's room.
• Feeds and assists with meals.
• Obtains vital signs as supervised by the hospice nurse.
• Reports any changes in the patient's condition.
