Job summary

Luxe Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate Hospice Chaplain to deliver spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and staff in end-of-life care. You will participate in creating personalized care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address spiritual needs.

The role requires an M.Div. or equivalent, prior hospice chaplain experience, CPR/BLS certifications, and a valid Illinois driver’s license with reliable transportation for service area travel.

Qualifications

• Requires M.Div. or equivalent theological degree.
• Prior hospice chaplain experience is required.
• Valid IL driver’s license and reliable transportation are needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and families.
• Conduct spiritual assessments and counseling.
• Lead memorial services, support groups, and prayer services as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to tailor spiritual care plans.
• Support staff and volunteers in coping with hospice care emotions.
• Maintain confidential records in line with HIPAA policies.
