Job summary

Arc Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a Chaplain – Hospice PRN to offer compassionate spiritual care to patients and families during serious illness and end of life. You will work closely within an interdisciplinary team to provide inclusive support tailored to diverse beliefs and life experiences.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree, has experience in hospice care, and is skilled in spiritual assessments and care planning. A valid driver’s license is also required. Compensation ranges from $28 to $28 USD.

Qualifications

• Experience providing spiritual care in hospice or healthcare settings preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare hospice regulations and Conditions of Participation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct spiritual assessments and develop individualized spiritual care plans.
• Provide ongoing spiritual and emotional support aligned with beliefs.
• Document spiritual care services and updates to plans of care in EMR.

Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Understanding of grief and bereavement processes

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Education

Master’s degree in divinity or related field

Minimum of one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education
