Job summary

AccentCare is hiring Hospice Aide/CNA professionals to join our caring team serving communities in Maryland. You will provide compassionate, hands-on care in patients’ homes or facilities, assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, and daily activities while ensuring safety and dignity.

The role offers full-time hours, a Monday–Friday schedule, and a pay range of $18.00–$22.00 per hour based on experience, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a purpose-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Must be certified by the state as a nurse's aide with required training and passing score on competency exam.
• CPR certification required for direct patient care.
• Must be listed on the state aide registry with a clear record and eligible to provide care in homes or facilities.
• Requires reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and state-required auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on hospice care including assistance with personal hygiene, repositioning, and mobility support.
• Assist patients in their homes or facilities with daily living activities while ensuring safety and dignity.
• Monitor comfort levels, respond to needs, and support end-of-life care.
• Work in home and facility environments, adapting to varying conditions while maintaining infection control.
