Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide to join our team in College Station, TX. The role requires CNA certification, CPR, and a reliable vehicle to provide compassionate care in patients' homes or facilities, with up to 200 lb lifting assistance where needed.

You will work full-time hours, Monday to Friday, helping patients with daily activities, comfort, and dignity while following infection control protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications

• State CNA certification with training and passing score of 85% or higher on required competency exam.
• CPR certification required for direct patient care in specified states.
• Must be listed on state aide registry with a clear record and eligible to provide care in homes, facilities, or hospitals.
• Requires a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and state-required auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on hospice care including hygiene, repositioning, and mobility support (up to 200 lbs with assistance).
• Support patients in their homes or facilities with daily activities while ensuring timely, dignified end-of-life care.
• Monitor comfort, respond to needs, and assist with daily living tasks while maintaining safety and dignity.
• Work in home and facility environments, adapting to conditions and maintaining infection control and safety.
