Job summary

Serenity Hospice in the Lehigh Valley (Allentown area) is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate end-of-life care. Work under RN supervision to meet patients' personal needs, promote comfort, and maintain safety and quality of care.

Evening and weekend hours are available, with direct deposit and mileage reimbursement. Requirements include a valid CNA and/or HHA certification, a licensed driver with insured vehicle, and at least one year of healthcare

Qualifications

• Licensed driver with insured vehicle.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Understanding hospice philosophy and terminally ill care.
• Valid CNA and/or HHA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients under RN supervision to meet personal needs and comfort.
• Observe patients and report changes in condition.
• Promote quality, continuity and safety of care.
• Perform CNA duties as assigned.
