Job summary

Heart’n Soul Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide to join our compassionate care team in Miami. Under RN direction, you will provide direct patient care and assist with transfers, mobility, and daily activities, while documenting care and reporting changes per policy.

The ideal candidate has an unencumbered CNA certification and at least one year of Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant experience, with a strong heart for serving patients and families and a commitment to confidentiality and

Qualifications

• Must have an unencumbered CNA certification per the Nurse Aide Registry.
• Licensure: Current CNA license.
• At least one year of Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant experience.
• Demonstrates interest in welfare of ill and elderly; a heart for providing compassionate care.
• High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information.
• Must have current driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the RN and according to the Plan of Care.
• Assist with safe transfers and ambulation per agency policy.
• Report and document changes ensuring continuity of care.
• Practice infection control principles.
• Promote respectful communication with patient, family, and staff.
• Timely submission of all documentation.
• Perform other duties as required and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
