Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse's aide with required training and a passing score (85%+) on the agency exam.
• CPR certification required for direct patient care in some states.
• Must be listed on the state aide registry with a clear record and eligible to provide care in homes, facilities, or hospitals.
• Requires a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and state-required auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to hospice patients, including personal hygiene, repositioning, and mobility support.
• Assist patients in their homes or facilities with daily activities and mobility, maintaining end-of-life dignity.
• Monitor comfort levels and respond to needs while ensuring patient safety and infection control.
• Work in home and facility settings, adapting to varying conditions and upholding safety protocols.
