Job summary

Redcrest Hospice House in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Hospice Aide to support patient care on three 12-hour night shifts per week. You will perform personal care, assist with activities of daily living, and communicate patient needs to the supervising nurse.

Qualified candidates are CNAs or HHAs with state competency or licensure, and at least one year in hospice care is preferred. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Meets state requirements for CNA or HHA competency evaluation.
• One year of experience in hospice care preferred.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: baths, oral hygiene, grooming, bed linen changes.
• Assist with meals, mobility, and routine activities per care plan.
• Communicate patient status and changes to supervising nurse.
• Maintain safety and observe skin integrity; use equipment properly.
• Participate in in-service training and mandatory meetings.
