Job summary

Jerry is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide in-home support in North York, Ontario. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility, in the clients home.

There is optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (not required). This full-time, in-person position offers CAD 21 per hour for 40 hours per week, starts as soon as possible, with transportation provided by the employer.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
• 1 to less than 7 months of home care experience preferred.
• Ability to assist with daily living activities and personal care.

Responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care
• Assist clients in water (i.e. pool)
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
• Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
• Feed or assist in feeding
• Launder clothing and household linens
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Provide companionship
• Shop for food and household supplies
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
