The MedEquip Shop in Houston, TX is seeking a Retail Sales Consultant / Medical Assistant to help customers select home medical equipment.

This is a patient-focused, non-clinical role that blends compassionate service with product knowledge to educate customers about rollators, wheelchairs, lift chairs, hospital beds and safety devices.

You will handle walk-in customers, quotes, orders, delivery coordination, and maintain showroom organization while building trust with seniors and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing sales experience with a focus on senior customers.
• Ability to listen first and recommend appropriate products.
• Comfort explaining equipment options, safety considerations, and usage.

Responsabilités

• Assist walk-in customers in finding best-fit medical products.
• Ask questions about mobility, home setup, comfort, and budget.
• Educate customers on options, features, safety, and use of equipment.
• Demonstrate rollators, wheelchairs, lift chairs, beds, scooters, and related gear.
• Prepare quotes, process orders, and coordinate delivery or installation.
