Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Island in Merritt Island, Florida is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech therapy services at a state-of-the-art facility. Qualifications

• MA or MS in Communication Disorders from an accredited university.
• Recognized by ASHA and the state board.
• Current license and/or registration in the state (as applicable).
• Successful completion of CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year).

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech therapy evaluations based on MD orders.
• Document findings using standardized evaluation formats and ensure compliance.
• Develop and implement a detailed treatment plan with short and long-term goals, frequency, duration, and interventions.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
• Provide comprehensive patient treatment using various therapeutic modalities and maintain safety.
