Job summary

Elite Home Health & Hospice seeks a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide quality home health and hospice services. You will work under an Occupational Therapist, helping patients maintain independence in their own homes and educating families on adaptive techniques with a focus on CAPLICO values.

Your role includes documenting visits, ensuring safety, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to keep patients at home where they are most comfortable.

Qualifications

• Current COTA certification and active state license.
• Strong communication and independent work skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Support patients with daily living skills, safety, and independence.
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Document visits and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team.
