Job summary

Inspiration Home Health and Hospice seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home personal care to hospice patients under RN direction in the Davis County area. You will support families, assist with daily tasks, and help maintain comfort and dignity for patients in their homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate from an approved training and competency course.
• Must meet state or federal Home Health aide training and competency requirements.
• Ability to work independently, make accurate judgments, and respond to crises outside a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to terminally ill hospice patient under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living and household tasks essential to wellbeing.
• Take measurements (temperature, pulse, respirations, BP) if assigned.
• Assist with meals and shopping if needed.
• Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patient and family.
• Document supervision and evaluations as required by RN and policy.
