Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Home and Community Based Services Aide to provide compassionate in-home support, personal care, and help with daily living activities to help clients remain in their own homes. Responsibilities include hygiene assistance, meal prep, accompany to appointments, and monitoring health needs.

Required CNA and First Aid certifications; CPR preferred or can be completed within 90 days. Flexible hours and independent work are expected.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required for the role.
• First Aid certification is required.
• CPR certification is preferred or obtainable within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders.
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
• Ability to work with clients of diverse ages, races, creeds, colors, sexes, disabilities, or financial conditions.
