Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a Home and Community Based Services Aide to provide compassionate in-home support, personal care and help with daily living activities. You will assist with hygiene, meal prep, and accompany clients to appointments, ensuring safety and dignity at all times.

Responsibilities include documenting patient status, managing vital signs, and maintaining confidentiality using EVV. A valid driver’s license, CPR, and 6+ months of home care experience are preferred; flexible hours

Qualifications

Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation.
6+ months of home care experience.
CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
Ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders.
Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
