Job summary

JEVS Care at Home in the Harleysville, Lansdowne, and Pottstown areas is seeking caring individuals to join our home care team. Caregivers assist clients with daily living per their care plans, helping maintain independence and dignity.

You will receive comprehensive training, PPE, CPR/First Aid, dementia training, and opportunities for in-services. We welcome applicants 18+, HS diploma or GED, and CPR/First Aid training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Nurse Aide Certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate with Client Care Manager.
• Completion of Caregiver Orientation.
• Must satisfactorily complete orientation and post-orientation exam.
• U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client in daily life as indicated by the care plan.
• Help clients maintain independence and dignity.
• Caregivers receive training and PPE for success.
• CPR, First Aid, and Dementia Training provided.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information per HIPAA.
• Complete instrumental activities of daily living per the care plan.
