Job summary

JEVS Care at Home in Pennsylvania is seeking new caregivers to join our home care team serving the Bensalem, Levittown, and Fairless Hills areas.

As a Caregiver you will assist clients with daily living per their care plans, receive training, PPE, and ongoing professional development such as CPR/First Aid and dementia care. This role emphasizes independence, confidentiality, and continuing certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Nurse Aide Certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate with Client Care Manager.
• Completion of Caregiver Orientation.
• Must satisfactorily complete JEVS Care at Home written exam and orientation program 80% passing score on post-orientation exam.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client in aspects of daily living as indicated by their care plan.
• Help clients maintain independence and quality of life.
• Complete competency examination after training and orientation; annual recertification thereafter.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information per HIPAA regulations.
• Perform instrumental activities of daily living per the client’s Plan of Care.
