Job summary

Willcare, a part of LHC Group within the Optum family, is hiring a Per Diem Personal Care Assistant I or II to provide environmental, nutritional, personal care, and household support to clients in their homes.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, meal prep, medication reminders, transportation to appointments, and reporting observations to the branch. Must have a home health aide training or equivalent experience; CPR preferred. Hourly pay $13–$20.

Qualifications

• Complete a home health aide training or equivalent exam.
• One full year of home care experience OR training in personal care services.
• Current driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, oral care and denture care.
• Provides or assists with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Reminds about medications and assists with safe administration if required.
• Transports client to appointments or errands and accompanies to essential activities.
• Maintains a clean, safe home environment and records observations for branch managers.
