The role requires an HHA certificate, 18+ years old, and a compassionate, dependable approach. Training is provided, with emphasis on client independence and high-quality home-based care.

Qualifikationen

• Must be eighteen (18) years or older.
• Must have a Home Health Aide certificate per state requirements with ongoing in-service education.
• Must demonstrate maturity for good work relationships with client and agency staff.
• Have a sincere interest in caring for the sick and disabled.

Aufgaben

• Maintain a healthy, safe environment with nutritional and environmental support.
• Assist with personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, walking and feeding.
• Position the client when instructed to do so.
• Assist with treatments and therapy as ordered by physician and approved by nursing supervisor.
• Remind the client to take medications.
• Report changes in client condition to agency or nursing supervisor.
• Use medical supplies appropriately and document on aide chart daily.
• Provide emotional support and encourage client independence.
