Job summary

Maximum Care, Inc. is seeking a Direct Care Worker to join our team in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. This role focuses on compassionate in-home support for Participants with intellectual disabilities, the elderly, and other individuals in need of assistance.

The Direct Care Worker will perform home care tasks, provide companionship, and ensure safety and dignity for Participants. Competitive pay up to $19 per hour plus bonuses and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a Criminal Background check.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Care for Participants with dignity, patience, compassion and respect.
• Provide light home assistance: light housekeeping, errands, transportation, meals and medication reminders.
• Provide personal care: toileting, bathing, feeding, grooming as needed.
• Offer companionship and conversation to Participants.
