Job summary

Maximum Care, Inc. is seeking a Direct Care Worker to join our team in the Lehigh Valley. We support the elderly, disabled, and participants with intellectual disabilities, and offer flexible schedules, part-time or full-time roles, and opportunities to earn up to $19/hr.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time

Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate must care for Participants and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. Provide physical and emotional care as needed due to illness, injury, or disability.
• Home assistance — provide light housekeeping, run errands, or transportation; accompany clients to appointments and assist/reminders with medications; prepare meals and assist with general living needs and personal care.
• Companionship — provide conversation and social engagement to support well-being.
