Job summary

Maximum Care, Inc. is seeking a Direct Care Worker to join our team in the Lehigh Valley. Earn up to $19/hr while supporting seniors, the disabled, and participants with intellectual disabilities, with flexible part-time or full-time schedules and mobile-friendly training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate must be able to care for Participants and their property with dignity, patience, compassion and respect, including physical and emotional care due to illness, injury or disability.
• Home assistance: light housekeeping, errands or transportation, accompany clients to appointments and assist with medications, prepare meals and personal care.
• Companionship: provide conversation and stimulation to support independence and wellbeing.
