Job summary

Right at Home Monterey Bay is hiring caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to support seniors and adults with disabilities. You will provide personal care, transportation assistance, meal prep, medication reminders, and companionship in clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Willing to commute to Santa Cruz, Capitola, Aptos, Watsonville, Soquel areas.
• Possess a valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• Willing to complete onboarding paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and client independence.
• Perform light housekeeping up to 20% of tasks.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, dressing, and shaving.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Support prescribed range of motion exercises and dementia care.
• Offer companionship through reading, music, puzzles, and conversation.
