Job summary

Right at Home Monterey Bay is seeking Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to support seniors and adults with disabilities in the Capitola area. Join a fast-growing home care company offering PPE, training, and a path to meaningful, hands-on care.

Day and night shifts available; opportunities to serve in Santa Cruz and surrounding communities with flexible schedules and weekly pay. Competitive pay and benefits are provided to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience (family or professional).
• Willing to commute to Santa Cruz, Capitola, Aptos, Watsonville, Soquel areas.
• Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check is required.
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred.
• Willing to complete onboarding paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Assist with light housekeeping up to 20% of time.
• Prepare meals and snacks as instructed.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Provide personal care tasks: bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with range of motion exercises as prescribed.
• Offer companionship and engagement activities.
