Job summary

Right at Home Monterey Bay in Capitola, CA is looking for compassionate CNAs, HHAs, and caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. You will provide personal care, companionship, and daily living assistance with respect and dignity.

We offer flexible day and night shifts, paid training, weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities to grow with a supportive team that values essential service.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed.
• 1 year of caregiving experience (family or professional).
• Willing to commute to Santa Cruz, Capitola, Aptos, Watsonville, Soquel areas.
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred.
• Pass a background check.
• Willing to complete onboarding paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with transferring/moving clients within their home.
• Little more than 20% housekeeping duties as needed to support clients.
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompanying clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving.
• Medication reminders.
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Dementia care.
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.
