Job summary

A Place at Home in the United States is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide to support clients at home under RN supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, meal planning, mobility, and companionship, following each client's care plan to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

The role requires a state-approved HHA certification, HS diploma, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

Completion of state-approved Home Health Aide certification course.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Reliable transportation and valid driver''s license.

Responsibilities

Providing assistance with ADLs, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Assisting with meal planning and preparation, observing dietary restrictions when necessary.
Assisting with medication reminders in compliance with established care plans.
Performing light housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and laundry to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment for our clients.
Assisting with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times.
Providing companionship and fostering a nurturing relationship with our clients.
Documenting and reporting changes in client''s physical condition, behavior, or living conditions to the supervising nurse.
Following HIPAA guidelines and maintaining the privacy of all client PHI (Personal Health Information).
Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
