Job summary

A Place at Home is hiring a Home Health Aide to join our care team in the client's home, providing compassionate assistance with daily living activities under the supervision of registered nurses. You will help with bathing, grooming, meal planning, medications reminders, light housekeeping, mobility support, and companionship, while following each client's care plan and HIPAA guidelines.

The role requires state-approved HHA certification, valid driver's license, and a commitment to patient

Qualifications

• Must have valid Home Health Aide certification.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Compassionate and empathetic with a desire to improve lives.

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assisting with meal planning and preparation, observing dietary restrictions.
• Assisting with medication reminders in accordance with care plans.
• Performing light housekeeping to maintain a clean living environment.
• Assisting with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety.
• Providing companionship and nurturing relationships.
• Documenting and reporting changes to supervising nurse.
• Following HIPAA guidelines and protecting client PHI.
• Participating in ongoing training and development.
