Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State-approved training program for Home Health Aides.
• Valid certification as a Home Health Aide.
• Minimum of 1 year of HHA experience.
• Excellent communication and empathy with clients and families.
• Ability to safely lift and move clients using proper body mechanics.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily needs (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Remind individuals to take medication and assist with administration.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare team.
• Perform light household tasks to maintain a clean, safe home.
• Prepare meals meeting dietary requirements.
• Engage in meaningful, compassionate conversations.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients and families.
