Zusammenfassung

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide hands-on personal care to patients in their residences, supporting comfort, dignity, and daily living activities under supervision of licensed staff. You will follow individualized care plans and document changes to promote safety and quality of life.

Responsibilities include essential ADL assistance, meal support, environmental housekeeping, and recognizing emergencies.

Qualifikationen

• Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant per state requirements.
• Current CPR certification.
• CNA experience within the last two years; if longer, require another training/competency program before providing services.
• Ability to pass the care center competency program.
• Driver's License and access to reliable transportation.

Aufgaben

• Obtains temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respiration.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
• Assists patient with bed mobility, bathing, hygiene, and toileting.
• Prepares and provides meals or assists as needed.
• Performs light homemaking and other environmental services.
• Observes, reports, and documents changes in patient status.
• Monitors basic body functions and reports changes.
• Recognizes emergencies and follows procedures per policy.
• Follows infection prevention and safety procedures.
• Adheres to care plan for personal care.
• Assists with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapist.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
