Job summary

Interim HealthCare seeks a certified nursing assistant in North Carolina to join the home health team. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary group to deliver hands-on care and report changes in patient condition in the home setting.

Responsibilities include vital signs, ADL assistance, mobility support, medication reminders, infection control, and documentation. Access to PHI is required; background checks and nursing aide training are prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Two positive references.
• Pass home health aide knowledge exam.
• Criminal and abuse background checks where required.
• Able to communicate effectively in English with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Read and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations).
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, nutrition).
• Promote safe environment and clear pathways during care.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range-of-motion exercises.
• Assist with incidental daily living tasks (shopping, meal prep, homemaking).
• Provide medication reminders and assist with self-administered meds.
