Interim HealthCare Inc. seeks a certified nursing assistant in North Carolina to provide hands-on home health care as part of the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include measuring vitals, assisting with ADLs, promoting safety, aiding mobility, medication reminders, infection control, and documentation. Must meet state requirements, pass background checks and maintain licensure.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• Six months of healthcare experience or completion of the program.
• CNA training and competency evaluation approved by state/federal regs and listed on the state nurse aide registry.
• Not had a 24-month lapse in compensated home health aide work; if so, complete program again.
• Ability to read, write and report clinical information in English; pass background checks.

Responsabilités

• Reads and records temperature, pulse, and respirations.
• Assists with activities of daily living and patient/family training in ADLs.
• Promotes safety and maintains unobstructed pathways during care.
• Assists with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Assists with incidental ADLs and home tasks as assigned.
• Provides medication reminders and assists with self-administration as needed.
• Uses infection prevention measures and PPE; follows care plan.
• Documents observations and services in a timely manner.
• Communicates changes in patient condition to supervisor; travels to visits.
