Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a certified nursing assistant to join our home health team. You will provide hands-on personal care, report changes in patient condition, and assist with daily living activities in the patient’s home.

Positions require NC CNA certification, valid driver’s license, and the ability to communicate effectively in English. Training and compliance with safety protocols will be provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must pass English communication requirements.
• Two positive references are required.
• Background checks where required by law.
• Ability to read, write, and report clinical information.

Responsibilities

• Reads and records temperature, pulse, and respirations.
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, toileting, nutrition).
• Maintains safe environment and unobstructed pathways.
• Assists with ambulation, transfers, and ROM exercises.
• Supports daily living tasks and homemaking as needed.
• Reminds about and assists with medications ordinarily self-administered.
• Uses infection prevention measures and PPE appropriately.
• Follows care plan; reports changes to supervisor.
• Documents observations and care provided timely.
