Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Amedisys home health team is seeking a Home Health Aide in Charleston, SC to provide hands-on personal care in patients' homes under supervision of licensed clinical staff. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor health status, follow care plans, report changes, and participate in safety and infection control measures to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current state CNA certification or registration.
• CNA experience within the last two years.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Obtains temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respiration.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
• Assists patient with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assists with meals and light homemaking tasks.
• Observes, reports, and documents changes in patient status.
• Follows care plan and instructions from licensed staff.
• Provides patient safety and infection-control practices.
• Reports changes and emergencies per policy.
