Job summary

The Bristal is seeking compassionate Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides to provide hands-on care in a respectful, dignified manner for residents who call our community home.

In this role you’ll assist with ADLs, escort residents to meals and activities, and help support their physical and emotional well-being, while following directions from nursing leadership. This is a full-time position with an emphasis on reliability and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• CNA/PCA/HHA certification or equivalent.
• Experience assisting residents with Alzheimer’s or dementia is a plus.
• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Experience with geriatric population preferred, assisting with ADLs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Support residents in achieving physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being.
• Assist in Wellness area to ensure safety and comfort.
• Follow policies and directions of Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness.
